I seriously can't stand how some people on this forum cannot seem to grasp the concept of debating something. Some serious topics that could be used as a tool for an open exchange of ideas are being ruined by a few select people who, regardless of making valid points that I may even agree with, do not show any respect or consideration for people with different opinions so they report the post and they mods ALWAYS agree to what they have have reported and give that person a WP. You can debate, you just have to be smart about your words and not take it to the extreme. If you want to have a debate and be harsh about everything, then we have Stand Your Ground for that. There you can debate all you want with the stans in question. You can also have little debates outside, but you have to be more careful with what you say. There will be people who can't take them and report, where we decide if it went over the line or not, but then there will people who will just debate with you without reporting. It depends on the person and subject.
You all have freedom of speech, it's the first amendment of the constitution. You just have to remember this a forum with limitations that have been around since the beginning. We have been making this forum a safe place for discussions between fans and others while trying to weed out the trolls who just cause nothing but conflict. We have also been nice enough to give you a place for heated discussion.
I'm getting tired of typing, especially when I feel like this is still all about what happened with you in the Demi thread a few days ago.
