It could be iconic and career saving but I'm nearly %100 sure that it will be a mess. As a Gaga stan, that truly hurts. I still wish Adele had accepted to do it so I wouldnt have to see Gaga embarrass herself on the stage.

Pretty sure they'd prefer to have Foo Fighters(The worst of the surviving rock bands) over any pop girl. They just keep giving them slots to reach a broader audience.
