Katy is basically just as local as Taylor is. Taylor's sucess is extraordinary in the USA though so it's fine for her. Katy does well but nothing even close to Taylor.
Miley makes me appreciate old Knee. Knee went "urban" but she wasnt a poser. She was still herself. Miley her non-dancing self, her tragic backwater hick accent over pop songs. Knee at least knew to dance a bit on stage and hide her Southern twang in her work. If Miley's music was good, she would prob. get away with controversy over controversy with every vid just like some woman in the 80s/90s did but...
