I think Britney's impact is more on pop culture than it is pop music. The iconic performances and personal struggles. Almost all of Britney's highlights are visual in spectacle (the schoolgirl uniform, snake outfit, Rolling Stone cover, shaved head, no panties, etc.) Musically, her influence is quite minimal. I guess one can say she helped popularize electropop in the mainstream but that's debatable.
Idk, didn't she kinda make "teen/bubblegum pop" relevant? Her stans always say that, but I don't know if it's true or not
When are we gonna have another global era were an artist slayed hard with every single thing and there couldn't be no if or buts
- Media
- Album sales
- Singles sales
- Tour
- Critical Acclaim (GRAMMYs and stuff)
Gaga was the last one if I'm not mistaken (TFM). Adele could do it if she wanted to tour the world. D!ck was close but the media doesn't care about her. Beyonce, well, not a single Top 10 since forever. The only one that could come close of doing it again is Rihanna.
Touring usually means promoting the album right? Adele clearly has shown that she doesn't need to tour.

BEYONCE will do it, all she needs is a few top 10s.

Wait for the promo.
She won't. Even if she gets at some point a Top 10 hit in the US this era (), I was talking about a true WW slayage, not a Demi Lovato/Selena Gomez sized Top 10 hit.

No, she didnt start that. She just was lucky enough to be the first viable solo act of that movement. I think her musical legacy most likely lies in Blackout and its contribution in popularizing electropop.

I already addressed that scenario of a girl slaying in all aspects. It's virtually impossible.
