Some REAL vocals on Young Forever! Does even think that she sounds like Jordin Sparks when she sings "in time" at the end of the bridge and goes really high. It sounds EXACTLY like Jordin at 2:25 of her song, It Takes More. Amazing!
Lyrically, the dance tracks are so similar....even the hook to "Va Va Voom" and "Whip It" are similar. I think that's why the dance tracks are so critically trashed.
"Pound the Alarm" is gonna do good on radio when it's a single...but it's not the best dance track. It needs a dubstep breakdown or extended dance break - the song is really anti-climatic. It doesn't -go anywhere-.
I think Starships was the right main pop single.
I think "Whip It" is the best pop song on the album tbh...it effectively mixes some really good rapping and pop. The beat is sick too.

I think Whip It and Pound the Alarm will make good singles for pop radio, but honestly why bother when you could just release Va Va Voom and slay the entire planet?.
