John is the most boring, generic and one dimensional character ever.
He's the typical fantasy orphan character who becomes king, I hope they kill him off.

Jon may be a cliche orphan-to-king/chosen one, but Dany is a cliche "child of the overthrown king who sets out on a desperate mission to reclaim the throne of a country she's never stepped foot in, killing anyone who stands in her way." I'd much rather see her dead than him. Entitled brat.

So now that Cersei pretty much declared war on the Tyrells, who will feed the city now? The Tyrells were the ones who provided food for King's Landing. And now that winter is coming, I guess the good sis would rather see her people starve
|
Cersei knows that her days are numbered. She has no interest in being a good queen. She just wants to see the world burn as much as possible before she dies.

In the books warging is really difficult and when warging into Hodor/animals usually they fight back, something tells me bran wouldn't be able to control a dragon, it's not as simple as that

The Raven told Bran that he would fly, though. Unless that was just a poetic way of saying that Bran would become the raven, it seems likely that he'll be involved with a dragon.

When Jon and Sansa were speaking, Jon assured that Sansa should be the Lady of Winterfell since he knows he's a bastard. But Sansa said that she sees him as her own brother. I mean, if Sansa wanted to be titled the Lady of Winterfell, why didn't she just tell Jon? I would think that during Jon's titling of King of The North, he would have vouched for Sansa to rule Winterfell instead.
But I mean, was it ever Sansa's intention to become a ruler? I thought she just wanted her home back.
|
I don't think that Sansa would want to be ruler because she's seen the way that they drop like flies (Robert, Joffrey, Tommen, Robb), whereas the behind-the-scenes manipulators (LF, Varys, Olenna) are still alive.

This was a great season. Ep.8 was a stinker, but every other episode ranged from good to great. My favorite was ep. 7 for some reason. A step up from S5 which really only had one good, memorable episode in Hardhome.
On a side-note, I really can't get with Arya's storyline. She spent two seasons getting beat the **** up by the Waif and now she's suddenly infiltrating Westerosi strongholds and killing lords in their dining room. I guess she's doing whatever the **** she wants now, flipping off Jaqen H'qar and the Many-Faced God determining who dies and who lives. It doesn't feel believable for me at all.
And I assume seeing as she did the FreyPie plan, the Manderlys are out of the picture completely?
|
Well, Lord Manderly was one of the men who declared for Jon this episode, so he may be around in the future.
As for Arya's training... In the House of the Many Faced God, she wasn't all that advanced, but two years of training there would certainly be enough to put her leagues ahead of everyone in Westeros in terms of what she's capable of.

I wonder how they're gonna even the field tho. There are way too many powerful people against cersei now and there's no way it's gonna stay this way.

She'll probably end up allying with Euron. He's the only player on the field not allied with Dany or Jon at this point.

I really would like to know what Margaery was planning on doing before she was killed.
I mean she faked being obsessed with religion, sent Olenna home & etc
What was her plan? We'll probably never know
|
I think her plan for Cersei to show up for trial, be found guilty, and killed. Then, she would have had unobstructed control over Tommen. She wanted to send Loras home to Highgarten, and apparently he was supposed to be unbranded, so he could have stayed the heir and would've been safe away from the city. Eventually she probably would've tried dealing with the Faith.

Well, D&D originally wanted just 10 more episodes after S6.
Right now it seems to be 13, so...be grateful I guess.
Cersei's crown seems the most precarious ever. She has no right to it without even fake royal blood, and no one likes her except like a potioneer and a zombie. The Lannisters needed the Tyrells' money and men to keep her kids on the throne, and obviously the Tyrells are on the top of her enemy list now.

The way that there technically hasn't been a legitimate king since halfway through season one.
And someone mentioned dragon eggs (the multiquote button wouldn't work for some reason).
Pretty sure all of Dany's dragons are male. So unless there are other dragons somewhere else, or they can change sex like the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park, Dany's dragons are the last of the line. Much like Dany herself.
Also, how is it that Olenna apparently received a raven informing her of what was going on in Kings Landing, but nobody else on the show seemed have gotten word? Woo they're in for some SURPRISES next season.
