You know the Shammys dislike our queen. I'm convinced the only reason she got the other three were because the backlash would've been greater than the Daydream snub if she hadn't. She deserved at least one in a major category, a las she still got em though. It's not even about being a lamb, those songs ALL deserve some type of recognition.

It's been hard for Mariah to win major categories because she's always been up against really tough competition. Dreamlover would have won pop vocal performance had it not been for Whitney's poor timing. Unforgivable.

I understood, to a degree, in the 90s because competition was stiff. She could've gotten a major category win in 2005/6 imo. I also think she should've won for Traditional R&B with Mine Again. Oh well, what's done is done.

Yeah, some of these were absolutely terrible choices. I'm not saying she's never been unrightfully snubbed because she DEF has been. Sheryl's vocals on AIWD were good but better than HERO?

but when Betsy said major awards I was thinking more along the lines of Record of the Year and Best R&B Song.
