According to Sones, SNSD is working on an American album.
I heard it was an English "International" album.
Quote:
SM Entertainment have also been wise to focus a lot of SNSD’s promo in Europe. Most K-Pop agencies treat North America like the Holy Grail and ultimate goal, but cracking the US is hard for even British and Australian artists, let alone Asian acts. Europe is generally more open-minded musically, and K-Pop already has a large following in places like France and Brazil, so it’s good to see SNSD taking advantage of that.
It seems pretty clear right now from SM’s actions that they don’t have any unrealistic goals for Girls’ Generation to become the next Rihanna or Lady GaGa. The girls already have Japan -the world’s second largest music market- in the palms of their pretty hands, and they’re not about to throw it away for a pipe dream. Realistically, an English album will simply give the international fans something to actually buy, and open the door for more lucrative touring and promotional opportunities overseas.
Very smart.
Plus, with a proper English album and promo, I can see them actually charting internationally, even if just in low positions. The Boys album has been on the official Spanish albums chart for the past two weeks, and the single reached No. 52 on US iTunes last October, before they even started promoting it. If the Wonder Girls could crack the Hot 100 way back in 2009, then Girls’ Generation could definitely sell some albums across the globe in 2012.
The perfect line-up : Kai, Lu Han, D.O, Chanyeol, Sehun, TAO. (LAY if they want a 7th member)
The rest can be backup dancers for SHINee's comeback.
I guess LAY can be a actor in the future. He just looks like a swordsman in the wuxia film(I dont know the exact word..for example Hero directed by Zhang Yimou).

It sure is, they put a lot of effort into everything they do and their image + sound are just flawless.
Plus, they don't do generic trash, and their performances are ALWAYS on point. I couldn't ask for more
