Right now, there are uploads of songs on youtube with millions of views that do generate any revenue for the artist. They're losing money as this directs users away from official streams that would actually generate revenue for the artist and label. YouTube doesn't care - they still benefit whether or not streams are paying out to artists and labels.
The only entitled one here is you, who wants easy access to streams on youtube that don't payout to artists, as if it's more convenient than listening on spotify or something.
