I don't really feel that bad for Gaga since she is so young and will probably get nominated (and possibly win) again in the future but my heart does break for Diane. She'll probably never get a chance like this again.

He was being ignorant at the Oscars, then he told the press that he wanted to date a guy, the first openly gay Oscar winner, who died 20 years ago from complications of AIDS after he found out that he wasn´t the first openly Oscar winner. it´s just a tad disrespectful and full of himself tbh. Plus the fact that he had a mediocre performance.
I mean.. everyone should know/respect Howard Ashman, especially millennial gay individuals since he basically made the soundtrack to their childhood and lives lmao. That was kinda disrespectful.
