B'Day + 4 remain unbothered that's for sure.
I also thought it was going to be more empowering musically as it was visually. Still give her credit for showing artistic growth and experimenting but I expected more.
Will be interesting to see how the GP react to it.
I connected with this album a LOT faster than ST. The jump from 4 to ST was immense. I wasn't ready.
But now I know what Bey is capable of, I clicked with LEMONADE on the 3rd listen. I was panicing when I watched the HBO special because I wasn't really loving any of the songs. But that soon changed.
