The Queen B is working with K. Briscoe of The Outsyderz again, who produced her #1 comeback single “Womanizer”. Briscoe also recently worked on Timbalands Shock Value II album on “Lose Control” with JoJo and “The One I Love” with Keri Hilson, which further hints that Britney’s new album will have more urban influences.

Also contributing to the new album is songwriter Corte Ellis of the Soul Diggaz, who co-wrote “Get Naked” from Blackout and has previously worked with Fantasia and Monica.

And finally dance DJ David Guetta confirmed that he’s already finished the song with Britney that he was scheduled to work on.

I think it's amazing, but she'll still suffer on American airlplay, only Pop will play her nonetheless the style of the song.... "Britney" was more urban, "In The Zone" and "Blackout" also, and stations outside Pop still ignored her....

^ She had the most urban play with the Britney album as opposed to the others, because "Slave" charted on the BB R&B/Hip Hop chart and "Boys" was getting play on smaller urban stations at the time. "Break The Ice" remix even got play on Hot 97. I think with the right single, Brit can eventually get urban airplay that will be big. Yeah, Pop/Top 40 is her main audience, but there's no denying the urban influence in a lot of her music.

And as for airplay, first of all Britney will never get Urban play. Urban is 99% R&B/Hip-Hop songs, on their charts. She needs RHYTHMIC support. "Toxic" was her last Top 20 rhythmic, and before that pretty much all her pre-Britney singles went Top 10/Top 20 on the Rhythmic charts.

Then you have blacklisting of Britney singles, In The Zone had rhythmic success with "Toxic" (which helped it reach Top 10), other than that "Everytime" isn't rhythmic-like, and "MATM" was coming directly off of the last era so it suffered. "(I Got That) Boom Boom" was getting airplay though on all formats the entire era, but never got released. And of course, Blackout as a whole was doomed for obvious reasons. Despite that, all of the singles got to at least Top 50 on Rhythmic.

With this album being the first album to have urban-influence and it's a normal era, I expect success on the outer Pop charts again.

With a higher Rhythmic support Britney stands well for longevity on singles chart. The higher her Audience impressions from cross format songs the better. I'm most certainly excited about this next project and can't wait for the new era.

Hmm, I'd say 80% Blackout, 19% new sound, 1% Circus (something like Mannequin please!)

And all of those are rumours so likely to be false.

I wasn't keen on Circus. It's really patchy in my opinion and a huge step down from Blackout. I really liked how urban she was during Blackout and ITZ too, so I was kind annoyed when she went back to the poppy sound for Circus.

I'd love for this album to be a mix of Blackout and ITZ, along with a little bit of electro dancey stuff and topped off with some amazing and mature ballads (Shadow, Everytime, Someday). But also at the same time to have a new and fresh feel to it. :P

i think i just like it so much because i prefer that poppy sound, blackout was a bit too plain in my opinion. dont get me wrong it was an amazing album, but i would rather have a circus 2.0

but i totally understand why everyone loves it, plus, its a britney album ... that automatically makes it AMAZING IMO

And about the airplay thing...HMM SHE WILL NEVER EVER GET SUPPORT FROM URBAN RADIO!!! i dun think that people would like to hear a Britney Spears song after a Lil Wayne's song. What she needs is RHY support but for some reason they're hesitant about playing her music idk why tho.
