I think that was kinda her intention. I think she did an interview back in September about the meaning of this song, and she said that she basically was in a messed-up relationship but they "got over" their problems by having sex a lot. So I do think that there is some hidden "darkness" and "pain" within the song.

In an interview with MTV yesterday she said she's going on tour in the fall and then she's going to start working on the record. She said it's going to "be awhile" so don't expect it until mid-late 2016.
