It's still unclear because I ****ed up in Organic Chemistry and Genetics so it messed my GPA up a bit. As of right now, I'm going to get my Master's in Biomedical Sciences and then apply to a Physician's Asst program.

OMG that's exact;y what I want to do. What kind of GPA do you need for a normal Phys Asst program? Because right now (since I transferred school) I only have 1 semester recorded at my current school so that 1 semester I did mediocre in and it HAMMERED my GPA more than if I had 2 semesters. I mean I can get it back up to the 3.7 range if I study my ass off but I want something realistic to reach for.
And I'm taking Orgo this semester, what do you recommend new students to do in that class because I heard it was like the hardest undergrad course a person can take from any major

Some ***** gave him a WHOLE SET of exam work books that he's begging my brother and I to use so that we can do well on our SATs. They cost hundreds of dollars and he got them for $10.

Damn, High School feels so long ago. I miss that place.

I have a love/hate relationship with Biology
I genuinely have a passion for my major, but it's ********. Taking Advanced Cell Biology, Microbiology, and Evolutionary Biology at the same time and they expect you to maintain a 3.0... and people wonder what it means to be a "full-time student". Once you get into your major you'll see.

It's so damn hard like...sometimes I wonder why I chose the hardest damn major ever
Like I don't even like Biology, I'm a Chemistry wiz but I take it because overall it's easier to get a Bio degree and I want to get into a Phys Asst Program with a good GPA. Besides there are more jobs out there for people with a Bio major so just in case I don't do that I have other options

First of all let me say, it's very hard to go to college and graduate in 4 years like everyone thinks. It's a BIG misconception.
What happened with me was my dad died and though I had a ****ed up relationship with him, I still had to come home for a while and get my little sister squared away. Then I got really sick with my sickle cell so I had to take a couple of semesters off, but I will be graduating in 2014 with a BS in Molecular Biology.

Wow. I didn't know that. But its Medicine, i understand why you took some time off.

Two of my friends haave to repeat the ENTIRE year and all its units, and they're devastated. With Architecture once you fail the Studio Unit you're SCREWED. You can't proceed to the next year. You'll retake that ONE unit alone for the entire year till you get it right, regardless of how you did in the others.

My school is incredibly diverse. Every nation in the world is represented at my school - or so I'm told.
Hispanics are the biggest group, followed by non-Hispanic Blacks, then non-Hispanic Whites, then lastly, the Asians are few in number.
It's funny because my town is 50% White. The rich White people in my town send their kids to private schools and ****. Most of the White kids in my school come from the three other towns who send their children over here because they lack their own high schools.

The minimum GPA is a 3.0, but unless you have damn near perfect GRE/MCAT scores and an impressive resume they aren't even going to look your way. As long as you meet the minimum requirements you'll be granted at least an interview. From that point on you have to sell yourself. Your interview is probably the most important part of the interview process. I would say the average GPA of accepted students is around a 3.6. It really depends on the school.
The only thing I can tell you to do in Organic Chemistry is STUDY. That's all you really can do. For me, it's actually easier than Gen Chem, but I'm just a bad test taker. I actually made an A in lab. The absolute worst part of Orgo is Elimination, Addition, Substition, Diels Alder, and other types of reactions. The only way you're going to get through those tests is lots of practice and having the rules down. You should be fine though.

I wanted to do that before I became a Finance major, but it wasn't offered at my school. I could be making BANK right now.

My school's principal is Hispanic; and these are the Demographics apparently:
Black: 51%
White: 30%
Hispanic: 14%
2+ Races: 3%
Asian: 2%
Y'all need to stop being basic w/ these guesses and get the RECEIPTS searching "(school name here) demographics" on Google. I would always do this when considering schools to see how classy they were

I understand that. It took an extra year and a half for me to finish college. My mama and step dad snatched me out for a semester after freshman year for wildin' out and damn near ending up on academic probation.
They said I wasn't wasting money like that showing my ass...they made me go back home to Charlotte and after a few months of being back home with a curfew just like high school and working at PetSmart , I was ready to show them I could go back and seriously commit.
And then I just got kind of burned out with school after junior year and dropped to part time so my last year or so worth of courses were dragged out. Started out with freshman class of 2010 and ended up finishing winter 2011. A lot of people take longer than 4 years; nothing wrong with it. Finishing college is a totally different beast from finishing high school.

It's been times where i stay up until 5 am in the morning, go to sleep until 6, wake up and have to be at class at 7 for an exam. Starbucks is my best friend. There have been times where I wondered how I've made it through the day.
People wonder why college students are drug addicts and suffer from depression and other mental disorders. I know students who pop Adderall, Xanax, do coke, sleep like 6 hours a week, etc.

My school is legit.
It's in the middle of Manhattan, the girls are hot, and the alumni are incredible.
Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Micheal Kors, etc.
It's the best school I could be voting for my major.
Most of the students are white, but after that Asians because we have a shitload of foreign students.

Thanks a lot, it'll be tough for me but I'll get through. Sometimes I wonder to myself why I even chose this major until I realized there is no other major for me

They just aren't cut out for College.
I'm not in College and have done three nights this Summer where I stayed up 24+ hours; and recently like 2 days ago I was up 40 hours for a vacay.

It's weird because once I do 24 hours, I may be EXHAUSTED but my body won't let me sleep if I try. I have to naturally pass out.

It is. When you graduate high school you enter the real world. You have to worry about working, maintaining your household, what's going on back home, what you're going to eat that day because you don't have people sitting there catering to your every need. For the first time in life you really have to worry. So much is dependent on 1 text and unlike high school teachers, professors have no mercy. They'll still be sitting on a nice salary whether you fail or not. The only person you can depend on in college, is you, in reality. People can offer you words of wisdom, but it's up to you to really get the job done.
