Wiz Khalifa's rap ballad "See You Again" enjoys a fifth consecutive week ruling the PlatinumCharts. The Charlie Puth assisted power ballad comes from the official soundtrack of the hit movie "Furious7" and it's the only chart topper for both artists. "Again" is now the second longest running #1 single of 2015, behind Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do".
The folk hit "Budapest" by British singer George Ezra spends one more week at #2 of the PlatinumCharts. "Budapest" is the only chart appearance of Ezra and it still has a potential to hit the Top spot soon. Major Lazer, MO and DJ Snake all enter the Top 3 of the PlatinumCharts for the first time. Their collaboration "Lean On" flies 5-3 this week.
David Guetta, Nicki Minaj and Afrojack retreat at #4 after peaking at #3 last week with "Hey Mama". The indie hit single "Riptide" by Vance Joy reaches a new peak this week as it moves 10-5. Ellie Goulding's six-weeks-ruler "Love Me Like You Do" falls at #6 of the countdown.
Taylor Swift's powerful "Bad Blood", the fourth 1989 single, enters the chart at #7. It's the 13th chart appearance for Swift and her 12th Top 10 single, more than any other artist. Meghan Trainor and her "Dear Future Husband" falls at #8 and WALK THE MOON's "Shut Up and Dance" re-enter the Top10 and reach a new peak at #9. "Pretty Girls" by Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea round the countdown.

George Ezra finally ascends to the summit of the PlatinumCharts and his first week of ruling the Top20 is now a thing. Ezra's folk smash single "Budapest" marks his very first #1 on the chart and it's also his only chart appearance. "Budapest" is the 7th song to hit #1 in 2015 and it took 9 weeks to actually reach the Top spot.
Taylor Swift is angry and her "Bad Blood" song flies all the way from #7 (where it debuted last week) to #2, becoming the fourth Top 3 smash from her 1989 album. "Bad Blood" will most likely fight hard for the #1 spot next week. Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth might have spent five weeks at #1, but "See You Again" now has to decline. "Again" drops from the top spot to #3 in its 7th week.
Major Lazer, DJ Snake and MO's "Lean On" reached the Top 3 last week, but Swift's arrival pushes them back to #4. "Lean On" is the lead single from Lazer's album "Peace Is the Mission". Vance Joy's "Riptide" maintains its #5-peak position for a second week in a row. At #6 we have WALK THE MOON who keep climbing with the groovy "Shut Up and Dance". The song rockets from #9 to reach a new peak at #6.
"Hey Mama" by David Guetta and Nicki Minaj falls 4-7 this week. The song peaked at #3 a few weeks ago. Meghan Trainor's "Dear Future Husband" remains stable at #8 for another week and Ellie Goulding's six-weeks-chart-topper "Love Me Like You Do" falls at #9 of the countdown. OMI reaches the Top 10 right on the edge with "Cheerleader".

It's a record breaking week! Taylor Swift ascends to #1 with her fourth 1989 single, "Bad Blood", and great things happen. Swift becomes the artist with the most #1 singles in the PlatinumCharts history. She was tied with Katy Perry and Demi Lovato (both artists have 6 #1s). "Bad Blood" follows the #1 singles "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", "Begin Again", "State of Grace", "I Knew You Were Trouble", "22" and "Blank Space". Swift is also the artist with the most chart-appearances (she counts 13 so far). "Blood" is the fourth Top3 single from 1989.
"See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth climbs back at #2 after falling at #3 last week. "Again" ruled the PlatinumCharts for 5 straight weeks before being pushed at #3 by "Blood" and last week's #1, "Budapest". George Ezra's "Budapest" now tumbles at #4 after spending just a week at the summit.
Major Lazer returns in the Top 3 of the countdown with the dance smash "Lean On". "Lean On" moves 4-3 this week and features DJ Snake and Danish singer MO. At #5 WALK THE MOON keep rising with "Shut Up and Dance". The pop song enters the Top5, thus reaching a new peak position. The indie rock single "Riptide" by Vance Joy falls at #6 after spending two weeks in the Top 5.
At nos. 7 and 8 there are no changes this week. David Guetta, Nicki Minaj and Afrojack spend one more week at #7 with their smash single "Hey Mama" (which peaked at #3 on the PlatinumCharts) and Meghan Trainor is hanged once again at #8 with "Dear Future Husband". OMI's "Cheerleader" climbs slowly inside the Top 10, moving 10-9 and Ellie Goulding is the last artist to make the Top10 as her "Love Me Like You Do" single from "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie falls 9-10. LMLYD led the charts for 6 weeks.
