For me, I've voted in every election (Toronto, Ontario, and Canada) that has happened since I've been voting age. I get super involved (don't call me a nerd) and watch and read as much as I can about what's going on. I've also been a campaign volunteer for the NDP in the last few elections.
American 20+ers, you can discuss too. Getting political in here.

I'm in the UK!
I'm a Politics student so I'm a highly political guy.
There's a problem at the minute though. We've got a Coalition in power (Conservatives + Lib Dems)- consider Conservatives our Republicans. I'm left-leaning so I despise the Conservatives. The Lib Dems are the middle party, so they're not left or right- but they've been really weak in power so far. They said they'd protect students, but the fees into university have gone from £3000 to £9000 while they've been in power.
I used to support Labour (the Democrats of the UK)- but they're not popular either. They were in charge when the credit crunch happened, and they had a few scandals and the Iraq War (which has always been really unpopular here). So no one trusts them either.
So I'm supporting the Green Party. I can't trust any of the main parties right now, so instead I'm choosing a party that has good intentions. I feel we're destroying our environment far too much and no one's taking any notice, so Greens for the win!
