The fact that Ciara claims that this "Jackie" album is her "best body of work" just proves what a bad ear for music she has and has had for the past three albums with the exception of self-titled "Ciara" (Which in my opinion contains her best body of work). "Backseat Love", "Super Turnt Up" and "Keep on Lookin" needed to be singles after "Body Party" and "I'm Out". Even "DUI" could of been a nice closer to the album as the last single.

The "Jackie" album as a whole is a good pop album but she seems to be playing the cards wrong with her single choices ONCE AGAIN. "Dance Like We're Making Love" or "That's How I'm Feeling" should of been lead singles.

I don't even understand how "I Bet" made the album. She could of made a more BOPPISH break up song with Dr. Luke or something. I Bet really throws off the whole album, and I til this day wont understand why she released it as a first/lead single. The song has such an outdated sound and really does not represent the album one bit.

AS I STATED BEFORE, she released the album way too soon and she promoted "I can do that" more than the album itself. The album didn't have the proper momentum and was basically destined to flop.

I'm over it, she needs to start being SMARTER if she wants to grow commercially, otherwise, every album is going to be a Basic Instinct disaster.

I honestly lost all hope.

Ok EARLIER I was going to comment on all the meltdowns in here but clearly it's gotten worse

You guys need to relax. For me, Ciara's just become the kind of artist I just enjoy the music (because it's way more solid than most of the people ATRL stans) and not worry about the charting. Clearly Epic and her don't care about the success so let's just take the era for what it is.

This era for me is slowly becoming better than the Self Titled because she had better videos, good vocal performances, an actual tour and international promo.

It seems what few stations are playing the song are spinning it pretty consistenly. It's a shame none of the bigger Urban or even small Rhythmic stations are picking it up.
