Write-up:
Starting the top 50 on my list is female rapper Nicki Minaj with her collaboration with Rihanna on Fly. This song became a favorite of mine because of Rihanna's chorus part. The message of the song is so clear, it will really uplift your spirit whenever you're feeling down. The video is cool, we see both girls in some fancy outfits especially Nicki Minaj plus the fight scenes. Nicki definitely is on the right track in becoming today's best female rappers and Fly helps her on that journey.

Write-up:
Avril Lavigne appears for the second time with one of the standout ballads in Goodbye Lullaby. Wish You Were Here is a sad song and Avril emotionally delivered the message of the song. It has a catchy line which makes you sing this one easily. The “Damn, damn, damn…” part really gets stuck in my head whenever I hear this song. The music video captures the emotion of the song as Avril cries and weeps on the tub. Expect one more song from her on the next updates.

Write-up:
Katy Perry makes her first appearance in the list for her latest single The One That Got Away. With the success of Katy’s first 5 singles from Teenage Dream, this single became a follow-up hit and right now, I am hoping she will get that 6th #1 song in the Billboard Hot 100. At first I ignore this song whenever I listen to hear album but after being confirmed as a single, I had come to love this one especially the story line of the song and video. It is very beautiful at the same time heart-breaking. The concept of her playing a grandma reminiscing on her first love gave meaning to the song. Katy is so unstoppable for 2011, I'm here to witness her break more records in the future.
