I am slayed by how she actually transfered pop into art. Each song stands for itself and is pure pop divinity but in its entirety the album becomes something greater than just a pop album.
With Aura she invites you to actually peek underneath the cover, to see the girl who lives behind the outward appearance. She even invites you to her Venus (and her Uranus). She gives you love of a new dimension (Aphrodite, Venus) uniting it with sexual desire(Himeros in G.U.Y.). She's best when she's in love, and she's in love with you. But as a human being her feelings are more complex, she may long for another girl at the same time in her Sexxx Dreams, too. However, in the end all of her desires are for love, the medicine she needs to heal (MANiCURE). And if you love her back she allows to Do What U Want with her body but even so she will never give up on herself. She won't surrender her heart or mind but her body. And if you take advantage of her devotedness and kindness towards you, then you're just a pig inside … Swine. She will carry on then and focus on the good in life and the fun she has even though she knows she’s misunderstood by some, just like the good Donatella sis. Critics may have said that there may be nothing much behind her outrageous pop star Fashion! but as you've gotten to know her through the album, you see that actually her new look is ethereal. She celebrates life, looking good and feeling fine and spending her rich-as-piss money (Mary Jane Holland). But even with the sweetest rush, living high doesn't mean anything if you're not with her. She needs you more than Dope. And if you're with her and you're willing to go with her then it's you and her, baby, for life. Then she will able to live the Gypsy life of the pop missionary she's after all carrying her message of love out into the world. And if she receives the Applause she will feel her message is misunderstood by some. Pop culture was in art now ART's in POP culture in me!
