Serena's advantage is that she's physically strong enough to pass into the ATP league. She can win 100 slams all she want, though.

Stanford will be a good test for Serena. It's been her best Major historically and Stanford courts are most similar to the courts at Flushing Meadows (albeit a little faster) so her play here can be a preview of what's to come in NY.

I'm still decided between buying tix for Tuesday night when Venus plays or Wednesday night when Serena plays. I might not get a chance to see Venus play singles in person again so I might go with Tuesday night.
