My reasoning is that if you separate them, more flops will trickle into both and will never have a chance of winning a set; see Shakira, Sara, etc. Obvs not everyone can win, but I think having a set with every artist having really strong songs/discographies makes the sets more fun than separated groups where there's more of a chance that there'll be 5 or 6 "obvious" winners and the rest just waiting to be eliminated... if that makes any sense.
Basically, boys + girl groups together = more chance of really good entries for each round!
). I don't think it will be THAT female dominated. And if it is I won't be mad tbh. We know this is ATRL.
