You're Next is a personal favourite and a favourite on here as well.
Funny Games, Vacancy (although technically not a home invasion) and The Guest which is technically a home invasion thriller are awesome too!
You're Next was pretty bad imo. I didn't even care to watch most of the time and did other things.
The Funny Games however are masterpieces (original and remake)
It's so scary and so realistic. It's unlike any horror movie we've ever seen. It could actually find an audience - the main hurdle are the very heavy and almost impossible to understand accents. Even though it's in English, they should still subtitle it.
But otherwise, omg.

I liked Kristty a lot I wasnt expected something bad and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm curious about Last **** but im afraid it'll be a waste of time.

What a sad year for mainstream horror movies I dont think there was these many weeks with no major releases in the theaters in previous years like it is right now.
Has anyone seen any of the August Underground movies? If you wanna see ****ed UP, then watch those. JESUS. I only saw the second one and it looked WAY too real for my ass when I saw it like five years ago. I just now remembered it and omg.
I don't know how come creep (2014) has a 95% on RT. When I started watching that movie I was excited but it turned out to be boring. It was a mediocre movie (not that great). It follows still remains my favorite horror movie of the year.

All this tea Creep is overrated and The Visit would be more acclaimed if Shyamalan didn't make it.
nn, The Gallows only made $605,848 in DVD and Blu-Ray sales. With the mediocre box office numbers and the awful home video sales they can say goodbye to any kind of franchise ideas they had.
Not a horror movie, but a show. But there isn't a thread here and i dont know if many people watch it.
But Ash VS Evil Dead is AMAZING. I just finished all 4 episodes and im ADDICTED. It's so campy and outrageous, but incredible.
It's such a huge trip, watching it high. Espeically the 4th episode.
