Once I felt I had the energy to get up at least, about five minutes later, I hurried into the bathroom and put on clothes and then I went and drank down another bottle of water and fell asleep in my bed for about 20 minutes and then when I woke up, I felt fine.
It was one of the scariest moments of my life, though, I wasn't sure what was happening, so I can understand how scary it must have been for my mom. Luckily, she told her friend at work as soon as she started to feel sick and her friend offered to drive her home, but one of the other girls at the office forced her into a chair because she was as white as a ghost and feared that she might pass out. And my mom described the feelings she was going through, and it was even worse for her because she was embarrassed that the entire office had gathered around her "to watch her puke", as she says, because they were so concerned about her, and she felt like she was preventing everyone from doing her work. Luckily, though, my dad showed up and the people at the office got an ambulance for her and she's doing much better now. Vertigo is a scary thing, but I'm very thankful that it's not fatal and that it can be managed. Thank you so much for your support... and for taking the time to read this incredibly long comment.  |
I'm glad to hear that your mum is feeling better now!
I myself had Vertigo because of my low blood pressure! Usually it was only blurry vision with low body balance. I get use to it and I started to have control over it when it was happening, but once I had your case and it was really scary.
For the last two years I don't have Vertigo attacks, which I think is a good sign.

Thanks! Yeah, that really stinks, but it's a very good thing that you haven't had Vertigo attacks in two years! Hopefully you won't have any more. I talked with some of my friends today and a lot of their parents have had Vertigo attacks, and I know to a certain extent what it's like and to be diagnosed with it, I can't even imagine how awful it must be. For me, at least, I'd be a little fearful because I'd have no idea when I might have an attack, so I really do feel for anyone that has had Vertigo attacks in the past. I'm glad you haven't had any recently!

Thank you so much! I really do appreciate that! Honestly, this is the best fan base ever. I really am so thankful to be a member of this fan base. The fans in here are just all around good people and the fact that you guys care and have shown so much support for me just really means a lot to me, so thank you guys all so much.

Okay... Does Avril Lavigne's "When You're Gone" remind anyone else of Adele?  Also, her song "I Love You" reminds me of Adele!
Oh, and does anyone know what font was used for the 19 album artwork and singles? The "Adele" part looks like either Georgia or Times New Roman, and the "19" part looks like her own handwriting. Is it? And if so, where can I download the font of her handwriting? They made one for the 21 font (which was a custom font) and I downloaded that one. Just curious. Thanks!

Yes, that is her own handwriting there. Same goes for the track list on the back. I don't think anybody's made a font out of it tbh, it's too irregular. Every character in someone's handwriting is unique. Could also result in major copyright issues?
