I really didn't know what to expect since I've never been to one of her shows beforehand, but I was surprised! She has great stage presence, and this ADORABLE awkwardness about her that makes her so relatable and likeable. Yes she didn't sound as great as she normally did but like someone mentioned earlier she just had a vocal hemorrhage and she just needs to get back to that sort of routine of performing. And even though the show was a little messy with her spilling her tea all over the mic cords twice, forgetting the lyrics to EIE, and some mic issues it wasn't a big deal because she wasn't afraid to make fun of herself.
Oh and when she used the lyric sheets it wasn't for her songs btw. She covered two songs I forgot the first song but the second one was Sunday Morning. I can't at people trying to make it seem like she would need a lyric sheet for her own songs. And I loved that she made the band completely start over EIE. The crowd loved it and everybody went crazy when she performed One as an encore.
Basically yeah the show wasn't perfect and bit all over the place but it was fun! And she owned that stage despite the set backs and to me that showed that she cared enough to go on and give it her all.
