You can achieve just as much in music being black as you can being white. Lady Gaga is a raw talent, her new song is kind of crappy, but she deserves her success, and it has nothing to do with her skin colour, it's to do with her writing skills, her piano skills, her strong vocals, her production skills, she just has her own credibility to rely on, and does everything for herself, of course she can succeed and be better than most artists with such talents. Nothing to do with her being white
