The last 3 movies I've seen-
Valentine's Day (watched on: Valentine's Day )
Before this movie, I thought that the best cast in any movie was 'Hairspray' (2007 version). But now.. this DEFINITELY beats it! Everybody (well, mostly everybody), did an amazing job in this movie. Lots of elderly people were in the theater watching, and whenever TAYLOR SWIFT  was on the screen.. they were all CRYING from laughing. Even though TS doesn't have a big role, she definitely brought the laughs, she played her 'dumb blond' kind-of character perfectly.
RATING- 9.5/10 [in my top 10 favorite movies]
The Last Song (watched on: Easter ) *w/ SPOILERS*
I bought the book months before watching this to prep for the movie, because I knew that it would be amazing since Miley is in it.
I haven't even finished the book, but I went to see it anyways. I went with my mom and older sister. They had no idea what to expect, because they haven't read the book, or even seen the trailer. During the movie, there were plenty of scenes that were similar, if not exact, to what was in the book. But there were plenty of parts that were not, and to me, it felt like I was getting an exclusive look at a "special edition" of the book. The movie sometimes felt like a book, except without the words in front of my face, and I couldn't put it down. There were a few awkward moments, but that didn't even matter to me. To read the story (or most of it), and see the characters and everything, it is just amazing, because while I was reading the novel I was picturing what the characters may look like, and I didn't EVER think that Ronnie would be Miley or anything like the others were.
It was definitely an amazing time. SPOILER:
The best part about this movie is when the father dies, that may sound harsh, but when it happened, I was seriously crying 20 minutes straight.. It was so sad, and I connected so much with the character during the film, so it felt like I lost my own family member. But my grandma also died a few weeks before I saw this, so that was why my mother couldn't stop crying for HOURS. This scene made me feel a little bit differently about life after I watched the movie. I was sniffling the rest of the day.
RATING- 10/10 [my new favorite movie!]
Date Night (watched on: Sunday)
The movie started off a bit boring, and took awhile to actually "start". It just started off with their normal, hectic, busy lives. Then they go out on a date, but the restaurant takes reservations, which they did not schedule, and then they get in a whole lot of craziness. Without saying anything else about what happens, there was a mix of 3 things in this. Funny, action, and (sadly), boring parts. I would say there were tons of funny parts, there were a few action parts, but obviously nothing too big. But basically the start, and a few parts in between, were slightly boring. I just sat there waiting for something to happen, and that is why this movie is not an A-movie for me. But it was still good, but they left a lot of the good parts in the middle and end, which made the beginning a snore fest.
