The hottest dance craze in the Philippines is
Jai Ho! by the sexy female group The Pussycat Dolls accompanied by A.R. Rahman. This came to be a big surprise as a hit and I'm actually addicted to the tune especially the dance moves. A.R. Rahman provides the infectious background while Nicole sings the whole song. Definitely
Jai Ho! a big hit here especially in the radios and music video channels. The Pussycat Dolls released one of their best singles that adds another signature song under their belt.

Female pop sensation Taylor Swift definitely owned 2009 with her successful hits, and one of her famous songs
You Belong With Me is at #03 in my list. I love the song so much, accompanied by a great video with a good storyline. Taylor sings in the perspective of a nerd who is love with a hot guy with a cheerleader girlfriend as the villain in the story. I had a hard time deciding if
You Belong With Me or
Love Story is her biggest hit for 2009, but I chose this song. You cannot argue that Taylor Swift is the female artist for 2009 and I expect more from her this year or maybe in the future especially with her music.

Britney Spears is my Artist for this decade and I'm proud that I have been a fan of her music since the beginning.
Gimme More was my #01 song for 2007,
Piece Of Me came in at #02 for 2008, this year she ranks #02 again with the fierce single
Circus. What can I say, this is absolutely my favorite song at the beginning of 2009. I can't stop listening to this track over and over again. The music video is so amazing, it perfectly matches the
Circus vibe, it is Britney Spears at her best after some time. I'm definitely looking forward for more albums and singles to come for the only Princess of Pop!

The party anthem of 2009 is my #01 song for the year. The Black Eyed Peas definitely surprised me to come up with a great album and the single
I Gotta Feeling is no doubt pure perfection. I know everyone is annoyed seeing this at #01 in the US for 14 weeks, it continued the reign of
Boom Boom Pow summing up to 26 weeks or half a year. This is a perfect song for parties, celebrations and occasions. Anyone can be in a good mood whenever this song is being played. One of the most memorable song of the year, I'm really into the infectious chorus
"I gotta feeling that tonight's gonna be a good night..." To conclude it all, the Black Eyed Peas tops my list both my Album list and my Top 100 Song for the year 2009. Hands down!
