Ok guys I'll start accepting scores next week, I'll let you know the details in the next few days. Anyway, since some members suggest some names I'd like you all to help me choosing the name of the rate:
1. The UL•TI•MATE Carly Rae Jepsen's Discography Rate
2. Carly Rae Jepsen: The UL•TI•MATE Rate
3. All That: The UL•TI•MATE Carly Rae Jepsen Rate
4. Carly Rae Discography Rate: The UL•TI•MATE Rate
Personally, my favorites are number 1 and number 3
I have to say, she is one of the few pop stars of the last ~6 years that actually have a music IQ She listens to different stuff, across various time periods, and seems to know a lot about the composition side of things in general.
Her interviews.
And I've always loved for years that she never has came across pretentious about it or her art in general/when discussing pop music specifically.

Absolutely agree about everything you said, she's super interesting and reading or listening to her interviews is always amazing, she's really passionate about her music and music in general.
Anyway I think I'll create the Rate Thread on the 23th (Next Wednesday), and I'll accept scores until probably the 30th or the 31th
Why have I never heard these? Sounds like Tug of War era, but where exactly are these from? And that cover?
I'm not sure???

It's the "Dear You" EP, Carly's first release or at least the oldest one that we know as of now.
It was released in 2004, probably limited as well since not even her biggest fans are aware of it or own it.
Awesome!

It's funny, no one would've been able to tell back then
She has always been amazing and since the start her destiny was to become the empress of nowadays Pop music. She allows people to see the light in this obscure time where R&Boring and Urban songs sadly saturate radios and charts
