I actually liked that performance. Is is just me or does hearing contestants on these reality shows perform Stronger make anyone else feel that the song has already earned a well-deserved spot as an iconic song in pop music history? I don't think it's as forgettable as people say it is.
Agreed, the lyrics alone make it stand out. It will be remembered as an inspirational song for years to come. I can see Stronger being played over every uplifting story on TV etc.

It's still on the charts though. So ofc it's not forgotten yet. Let's wait a couple years before we call it "iconic"
Stronger wasn't charting in the top 100, but after it aired we're now at #84 ! Get that promo !
Actually, it's never left the top 100. You're talking about the second version - The first version, which is currently at #59, has always been in the top 100.

It looks like the Base thinks you're one of our most mature (which isn't a long shot, looking at this bunch ) but I can say that is really refreshing, especially for ATRL where EVERYONE is quick to bite someone's head off. I'm watching Dancing With The Stars and saw a new commercial for Duets. It was really short. It shows the guy, Jason Farol and a voiceover says, "Does he have what it takes to sing with Kelly Clarkson?" and he sings a little bit. Kelly reminded me of Jim from The Office, haha. She looked at the camera, then did a little touch down sign with her hands and smiled, lol.
