It's generic done right. It's the pop music equivalent of a hot dom top. You can't resist it, no matter how much you think you're not going to like it. If it were easy to make choruses that massive they would be dime a dozen, but it's not and there aren't.

In the States MJ kinda dropped off after Dangerous, and even with that album and Bad he didn't go Diamond. All of Taylor's albums would be Diamond (probably 12x+ Platinum or higher) if the market was similar to the 80s/90s.
