It is underappreciated the amount of work that goes into proactively cleaning a thread in order to keep the discussion going.
Most moderators cannot be bothered to extend the privilege of keeping a thread going, especially if it is generating multiple reports per page, just for the sake of continuing a discussion.
In this climate and with this server, it's a whole lot easier just to close it.
God, yes. I've had experience moderating so I definitely know the struggle of handling a bunch of reports in the same messy thread while it's still ongoing. Much respect to y'all.
Goosey was banned because all mods agreed that we had enough of his regular racist, transphobic, homophobic and generally offensive posts.
I've never been around to see Goosey's racist, transphobic, or homophobic posts.
I just always saw him being generally offensive/contrarian in an Anthony Jeselnek sort of way.
