HDD's #'s are estimates, most times they are on point within at least 5-10k up or down...Soundscan/Billboard #'s are the actuals. With Beyonce's they were pretty far off.
But thats not the case with everyone, Kanye's billboard #'s were higher than HDD's...(HDD: 443k, Billboard: 450k)
Britney could either be higher or lower than HDD's.

I still can't believe she built this amazing 505k amount out of almost only cleaning up her image, Yeah, there was a lot of buzz but it's not like she made it happen', people like to talk about her. All she did was one live performance at Good Morning America and the MTV's For The Record for U.S promotion. Besides that, and the posters everywhere + opening that Christmas event (30 secs. of talking o.O), it wasn't proper promotion. Imagine if she would've done and 'In The Zone' kidna heavy promo or even a la Sasha Fierce appearing in every TV show and so, she would've had no problem reaching 2003's In The Zone's numbers yet again after 5 years.
