Some TiK ToK remix came on in the car today and my mom's boyfriend turned that **** up loud. It was awesome. He loves Ke$ha... which might be his most redeemable quality. His son is a big fan as well.

My dad is kinda apathetic towards pop music -- and its stars -- for the most part, but I'm pretty sure he's enjoyed a few of her singles. I recall him calling her pretty once too.

My mom has liked all of the singles and had Cannibal on her iPod for a while.

One of my younger sisters is *almost* (or so she thinks) as obsessed as I am.

The other is a casual fan.

I'm always a little surprised by just how much vitriol and ridicule Ke$h gets online. Most people I know IRL seem to really like her.

It's the 4chan principle. The insane/absurd/perverted **** people post there, they wouldn't be talking about or even mention IRL either.

So I think some people find joy in hating on easy targets like Ke$ha in anonymity even when they probably don't really mean it, as a way to let out all the negativity in them and be a normal person again when they are off the PC.

My parents wanted to listen to the music I listened to in a car trip so I hesitantly (because they don't like music with partying, swearing and stuff) gave them A+C and they liked it! I was like wtf haha. Other than that my entire family hates Ke$ha as do most of my friends
