So done with their **** at this point. What the hell do they think they are getting from torturing the fans who've already proved that they're loyal by sticking around for all this time? Need to put a damper on their 21-inflated egos and release the thing already.
This is really upsetting me that they're taking this to the extent they have. I get that Adele's album is one of the most highly anticipated albums of all-time, but they're being too secretive about it. Maybe they realize that nothing factual about the album as far as witnessing Adele recording it or a release date or anything has been leaked by the paparazzi, and if they say anything they're afraid the paparazzi will look into it and try and figure out where she's recording and whatever. We know how Adele is when it comes to personal privacy as a celebrity, so... I obviously get that, but honestly... This is KILLING me.
I hope she doesn't pull a Beyoncé just because I don't want to hear all the haters blagging on and on about her being a copycat
But then again, imagine Adele actually being the one to come up with the surprise release idea and Bey stealing it before Adele actually put hers out My mom actually said Adele would surprise release before BEYONCÉ came out. Sometimes I think the woman's psychic... (she also guessed the album would come out in October of this year last December--we'll see)
I don't want a surprise release like Beyoncé, either. She'd be criticized by the media for "copying" Beyoncé, and I wouldn't be ready for the slayage. Plus, I feel like it wouldn't do as well because some of her older audiences would want to buy the physical CD and she has such a huge demographic (as opposed to Beyoncé, who still appeals to a lot of people, but I feel like Adele appeals to a much wider and larger demographic) that I feel like a digital-only or surprise release would only hurt her in the long run for many reasons.
I don't want one because it would feel like a cop-out for her to just release it and not give us anything prior. Beyonce did it because there were so many delays and it was supposed to be out months prior.
Plus we won't be getting much promo with this new album and if she releases it out of nowhere, then we'll almost likely get nothing for sure. I like a little time when the single drops to get excited about the album. The perfect scenario would be to surprise release a single (she could use more surprise hype for a single than an album tbh) and then drop the album a month later.
She definitely needs a little hype before the release...I'm not here too for a Beyoncè kinda thing.
She also needs to donate ONE single to the world before the album.
Lately many major artists are messing up with timing and stuff,hope XL will manage her better!
For example Gaga with her non existent video,Katy with too many singles out in a little time,or Lily Allen who has already 6 songs out from Sheezus...I'm gonna die if something like that happens.
Ichi, I'm concerned. I stan for Avril and you listen to that song more than I do.
Anyways... I just hope the album is still soul like we're used to because I ordered her cover of Cosmopolitan from a few years ago, and it came today, and she was interviewed about the guy that inspired 21, and at the end of the interview she said she really wants her third album to be "happy and fun". I hope that doesn't mean it becomes a generic mess.
