kdkndg @ Passengers getting a 0 from The Wall Street Journal
The whole movie prompts a sense of wonderment: at how boring, dumb and vacant it is; how it fails to give its co-stars enough to do; how the tone changes from one moment to the next; how presumably hard-headed businessmen could have sunk so much money into such a feeble script and, most importantly, how the script raises a crucial question of ethics, then comes up with the wrong answer.
Interviews are PR and promo tools for musicians.
Ahh at the Frihbih's calling Beyoncé propoganda'd when Frih uses the above to paint an inauthentic picture of herself.
You want to brag about the fact that your fav does interviews, but then want to switch to the whole "Frih is a true musician who only cares about the musixxx!!!11!!" narrative.
At the end of the day, critics will always have FRIH's album ranked below Lemonade.
The way she not doing interviews cause Legend got everyone talking when she didn't do one with VOGUE
The fake ST/MCSWT interludes she tried to do for the album
She only scrapped Kanye's songs cause FourFiveFlops flopped and was panned and she broke up with Travis most likely cause he snorted all her coke (And even then Woo still made the album unfortunately for us).
She doesn't need to do interviews because the music speaks for itself. If she was desperate for public approval she would be collaborating with Drake and hopping on the "in" sound like your fave is. She does what she wants and gets the public's approval for it. There's a difference.
