Eh I'm indifferent about it. I want her to start a new era too, but at the same time I feel like Bangerz has so much potential

At this point she should have already released the 4th single and be gearing up for the fifth (if she intends to release a fifth). I don't think 4x4 will really do anything if it's released but at least it's SOMETHING. We haven't had a video since Dec. 2013 and she hasn't really done anything to spark interest aside from the special.

Her team should release a tour edition of Bangerz; Disc 1 - original deluxe edition disc, Disc 2 - 10 recordings of the live tracks (mainly the covers+singles) + 2-4 new tracks she already recorded to give it a small boost. They could also include a Bangerz Tour digest to promote the tour/DVD (one of my faves does this sometimes, it's like a 4-6 minute clip of the tour that previews the performances). Then they should discount the original releases to $4.99 and $6.99 (standard and deluxe, respectively). They should have released it yesterday to coincide with the NBC special and put a banner up. This way she could get a bit of a boost and sell some more copies, then release 4x4 and close the era up.

In my opinion, she shouldn't have started the tour till October. Her team was way to trigger happy to capitalize on her hype back in December and thought anyone would buy a ticket just cause of Wrecking Ball and the VMAs. 2 hits and a viral performance isn't enough to garner ticket sales or a solid fanbase, especially when those 2 hits were met with controversial videos and the viral performance being panned and hated everywhere.

Like Kyle said, she should've been on her 5th single by now. Adore You should've gotten radio deals and more performances, but yet her team thought 'her power!!!!' would take care of it (we've discussed this into the ground, but still - it's truly something you handle the most talked about popstar so well in 2013 then completely do nothing the next year). They're just being so retarded. Instead of filming all these specials that nobody cares about, actually release singles and do traditional promotion campaigns?

In other news, her Instagram followers are plummeting beyond belief (lost 200k in the last 48 hours) and her team is yet again not doing anything. Cannot wait for a Liam 2.0 to make her weak and obedient again, (sorry!).

Anyway, I agree pika. How she's being handled and how she's handling herself (career-wise) is just ridiculous. Regardless, I'm really excited to see how next era goes, I feel like she's learned a lot about how to capture public interest and branding/public image this era so it will be interesting to see how she uses that in the future!

However i agree with pika saying she shouldn't have toured till October. I think her team got too happy with her hype, and i think a lot of artists' teams do this and that's why eras die so quickly. Miley should've went on tour maybe the Summer of this year and hype up Bangerz till like May/June, idk why the new logic is to go on tour right after an album comes out.

I think there's still hope for Bangerz and Miley has a great team (anyone who says Larry and Adam aren't geniuses are lying) I just think they think Miley can sell on her own and while she can, it's not like how it was last year. This NBC special came outta no where like she didn't have a single out, she's currently on break like it should've happened when the tour returned or way later in the year maybe w/ a re-release and a DVD.

I think Miley's fine they just need to kinda regear. Personally if i were her, I'd re-focus on Bangerz and keep pumping singles till the end of the tour or maybe do a re-release and debut the first single @ the VMAs but if not release 4x4 as the next single.

I had this idea that if she performed Drive @ the VMAs, like w/ rain and a white t-shirt (obvs for her nips to show ) and her "crying" with her makeup smeared and everything with pics of her and Liam in the back/sad depressive psychedelic **** in the back could kick Bangerz back in gear but also get her respect again cuz I know vocally she'd kill it and it'd still have the 'shock factor' but it wouldn't be as bad as last year.

Personally I like the shock factor in Miley's performances cuz everybody's so boring now and Miley made a niche for herself, I just don't want her to turn into Gaga

It'll be interesting to see what she does indeed! Hopefully she's smart enough to take the hint and realize that controversy doesn't work anymore. I'm scared she'll try to pull another controversial performance during this year's VMAs and the public will turn on her, like for real this time
