Also, it means having to go clean up my backyard after every single storm (we get 50+ each year here.) I've also seen my fare share of tornados over the years too.

I always am checking the weather and the skies. I used to want to be a pilot, so I know what to look for, but I love them, I remember I was at my best friends house in Ohio and a severe storm came up with no warning, we literally had to batten down the hatches in about 5 minutes, and that included tying things down, taking the flag down, etc etc, well let's just say, we had like 70 mile per hour winds, and heavy rain and when we were done, all of us were soaking wet.
Then we lost power for about 4 hours, so we played uno together until like 4am and then we got power back

Lightning heavy storms are my favorite.
