Now all of the Sasha Fierce portion just look so bad and tacky too me.

I feel like the 4 era shoots were what the IASF photoshoots tried to be.

I just saw the Billboard #1 Rate thread and it's featuring Imma Be by Black Eyed Peas... In the video Fergie is so channeling Sasha Fierce with the leotard + metallic elements, and even has the Sasha Fierce glove. I now remember how many people tried to replicate Beyonce's looks that era.

She looked kinda awkward in the i am ones like on the IIWAB cover n the one with hands over her breast. Her face was just. I just like that all her album shoots are very distinctive. Ppl say Bey looks the same every era but when u see her hair in a promo pic u can tell what era it's from.

I like those. It shows she doesn't take herself too seriously. A lot of those indoor shots were really fun and it mimics the quirkiness of Countdown.

Plus if she was posing proudly and prettily with such a huge crown on it'd look a bit arrogant.

I don't remember if it was for the IIWAB's single but I only like like one pic from the IASF's booklet, it is a very simple pic and we see her hand and she has a cross on one of them. She is just breathtaking on that one.

I agree, but it's so Beyoncé. Everything she does is simplistic or she makes it look simplistic. It would be weird if she tried to dig deeper and give a faux-artistic album title. I mean, she tried with I Am... Sasha Fierce and she was even embarrassed to say the full title in some interviews because of the ridiculousness.


I love DIL because it's the most creative, but I also love B'Day & 4 because they match perfectly with moments in her life. She wouldn't be able to name any other album "4" for the rest of her career since you can only have one 4th album & no other number was as special as 4; the uptempos & timing of her birthday falling on a Tuesday was just perfect for B'Day. so Beyoncé-esque.
Now if only the timing of the singles, promo etc of those eras was perfect, but i don't want to start that discussion
