I think they could win this, depends on Adele's fanbase, i don't think she has a big fanbase that votes... 1D will win British Video

They deserved a British Group nom.  And British Album but that's obviously not a hugely 'pop' category.
Nevertheless, I'm so excited for their performance. I pray Jason doesn't join them.

There's literally no chance that are going to win this. Let's be realistic now kids. Adele has best single and album on lockdown. Have we forgotten the Grammy's sweeps? And yes, I know it's based on fan votes, but still.
That's why I'm so livid about the Best Group snub, because that was their most realistic chance at actually winning an award.

I think we need to pray they even perform SLS at all, no matter what version. I'm lowkey worried they're going to have to do Black Magic as it's what got them nominated and it doesn't look like there's a lot of upbeat performances lined up.

I just don't like his voice on the song, I like his more uptempo songs more than his ballads. I'm not a huge fan of his voice anyway. But with a BRITs performance serving the vocal talent they always do, that is more than enough for this song to smash here. It's beautiful and they'll sing the house down.

Being nominated should be enough validation for us mixers, it's literally amazing that they're in the same category as future legend Adele, and other acts like Ellie and Y&Y

There are literally thousands of other artists who could've buttressed the structure of the song, Jason Derulo is a throwaway in the US...did they not know that?

I agree, Jason sounded AWFUL on the The Jingle Bell Ball performance of SLS, he kinda ruined it, his vocals were all over the place and so pitchy too.
I rather have SLS part 2, or part 1 without Jason.

Not really because that almost always goes to a rock group. Coldplay will probably win it. Edit: ...or Blur since they received a lifetime achievement award a few years ago.
LM have a chance at Best Single depending on the voting method & limitations.

How the **** is Coldplay still getting nominated for ****? I'm so ****ing pressed and I have no problem admitting it.
Their music is mediocre, their sales are drastically down from Ghost Stories, and their such a boring live act. I have literally never understood how they're as big as they are.

I would've never guessed that they would get shut out of Best British Single. Stranger things have happened.
Their influence has greatly diminished with Made in the AM, and Little Mix are currently in their imperial era. If it was fan voted, specifically only counting British votes, I think they could've pulled it off.
If it's worldwide, then they don't stand a chance. I'm not sure how the actual voting works.

They don't really stand a chance against 1D's fan base which is why the Mixers should be strategic and focus 100% on the Best Single category.

Obviously if it's a worldwide vote, but I'd say their fanbases are about comparable in the UK at this point, hence why I said that if the votes were somehow limited to the UK, it wouldn't be unthinkable for them to win.
Again, I have no idea why you guys think they're gonna win Best British Single. Little Mix could win the vote through social media via landslide, and I guarantee you, the awards committee will find some way to fudge it so that Adele wins.

They don't stand a chance against Adele , I would love to see them nominated for British group but at the end we got 2 nominations and 1 performance ! That's amazing news !

Yeah. I guess there's always next album. At that point, One Direction will be broken probably so they'll have a better chance then.
