Initially, Jean's powers were simply restricted to telekinesis, and even lifting her own weight quickly tired her. With training her telekinesis improved, but it wasn't until after she was released from the stasis chamber she was placed in by the Phoenix Force that her telekinesis really started to become powerful. <- (no idea what a stasis chamber is but whatever)

That's true, she's very powerful, but Storm isn't considered omega and she beat Jean in battle a few times, so that's confusing.

God damn Toad is stronger than Jean in the movie universe. Phoenix is omega/level 5/stronger than everyone, but because of that they can never really use her beyond Jean going insane and having to be either killed or released from the Phoenix. Out of the main movie characters, Storm and Quicksilver have the potential for most powerful based on their scenes.

That concept art... I love the Pepsi Co sign to push the 80s-ness of it... but are we really sure that's Storm up there?

It was said that Storm was a possible omega level mutant. Ice Man, Jean, Elixir are all omega level.

Speaking of, I would really love to see Elixir in the film. I find him underrated and he has really cool powers.

I wouldn't mind that subplot tbh. Well, in a sense a young Storm has a hard time controlling her powers. Whatever the reasons.

Jean's one of the first ever confirmed omega level mutants (of which, there are only like, 6 or 8). If Magneto isn't considered Omega, then Orora certainly doesn't make the cut.

When Jean has full control of her psi abilities, without regard to the Phoenix Force, she can rearrange matter on a molecular scale, and is considered to be a more powerful telepath than Xavier.

She literally stomps on Storm 10/10 times.

Controlling the wind is cute, tho.
