This is my favorite Madonna song ever. I love everything about it. The clever, tongue n cheek lyrics, the jazzy hip-house beat, the melody. Madonna was ON FIRE in this song, and it's a shame she never performed it live. She will never top this. Thank god I gave it 50 points.
Well, Where Life Begins is better than any song about warmth and moist by Janet Jackson but I'm not too keen on it. It's clever but not one of the highlights on Erotica for me.
This was Madonna's first "flop." It failed to reach the top 10. However, many critics have named it to be among her best ballads. Madonna sings about her tumultuous relationship with her father, and both the song and video are very touching. It's a shame the next song to come beat it.
Confession: I only realised a few days ago that the title of this song refers to the female genitalia.
It is blatantly obvious though. I mean: "Why's It So Hard?", "Secret Garden", "Deeper And Deeper"...
