So I looked up account deleting on vBulletin and it looks like it's possible on newer versions

There's also an option for regular members to delete their own account

I hope account deletion is an option in the future~

It's bad enough with people assuming who warned them; I can't imagine how messy this would be.

Our current warning system showed the names of who warned you before we took it out. It's just one of those areas that we modify to our liking.

Our beta testers will get a chance to use them for a bit and together we'll figure out whether or not we'll use it as is, modified or just disable it.

I think everyone is wary of anything to do with rule changes (including staff). We're preparing a major overhaul of the rules so that they won't need to be changed so often. This does include changes to expiration lengths and points, but it's more focused on balancing our system than making things more strict. You may even see points reduced on a few warning types.

And are permanent points from duplicate accounts still going to stay intact?

I'll go into detail on this at a later date.

Possibly. That's the way it is on our IPB3 server, but we're using a plugin that most likely won't be supported in IPB4 because the developer upped and disappeared. For IPB4 we're building it out ourselves with third party help.

Account deletion isn't currently planned at this time but we will probably offer the ability to wipe all content off of the account, such as posts, PMs, etc..

Ohh, that makes sense and is probably definitely the best route to take. I've been keeping an eye on all the updates coming to 4.0 and although some of them look like they'd be a great improvement/convenience, there are quite a few that wouldn't really work with this particular site. It'll be interesting to see what will get introduced, rejected and/or customized.

I'll go into detail on this at a later date.

A Facebook/Twitter tea. Can't wait to see how these will look on ATRL.

I'm not really fond of the profile layout. Kinda hope we get a heavily customized version.
However, there are some great features that I've been hoping would get introduced- mainly a dynamic overall view of all our content. No more having to wait two minutes to view posts and threads.

I don't know if ATRL is still taking suggestions or if this suggestion is even possible to
execute, but it would add some entertainment value if we had the option to view only
the "Already Reported/Warning Received" posts within in a thread under Search.

For example:

I haven't inquired about this so I have no actual information on it, but I'd imagine we're not going to have a lot of those features. Header images for example, I can just imagine the kind of MESS it would be to moderate those.

Yeah, I definitely do NOT want a header or any type of image on profile except for avatars and background (if purchased). The main feature I'm hoping we'll keep is the ability to see your posts and threads directly on your profile, rather than just links that redirect you to the search tool. I'd be cool being able to just quickly scroll down peoples posts/threads and not have to wait 180 minutes. + it would look cool too

I'm really not fussy about the visuals of the profile though. Header, warnings under avatar, recent visitors, albums so upfront and hopefully we won't have to worry about the status/followers nonsense.

The User Content section looks nice though!
