One thing though, BOMT (the single) sold over 9 million yeaaars back and it's been confirmed for selling 10 million by now. OIDIA (the single) also sold over 5 million by 2009. Toxic must be higher too but other than that, the estimations are fine.

I hate that UK Mix will estimate numbers. I'd prefer to have confirmed numbers even if they're undertracked as opposed to estimated numbers that could be inflated.

Those estimations are way more reasonable than Mediatraffic points (which is the only other way of being able to gauge the success of a song before the digital era) so it's pretty good, IMO.

Mediatraffic is 75% sales and 25% airplay so I wouldn't trust their singles chart. I'd rather go with estimations (for the singles we don't have figures for that is). Either way, she passed 97 million with Anticipating which sold about 80k in the US. Her single sales are pretty damn good.

95M singles + 80M albums = 175M.

The whole streaming thing is so confusing, but I wouldn't be surprised if it actually SOLD that much, Universal Music reported it sold 5.8M in 2013 + an estimated 2M from 2012 = 7.8M.
