Basically my thoughts on it too.

I like it but it doesn't feel very Zelda-y from what we've seen anyway. That said, there's a load of things that they've added which I LOVE. I hope they work on making the game more alive.

I'm not sure how the 'no towns' rumor started, but of course there's SO MUCH more to this game that we didn't see today. What we saw today is exactly the kind of game I love playing; a mix of Zelda and an open-world RPG. I'm slain! Can't wait to learn more about the world/characters/story in the coming months

Idk why people saw the demo and assumed there wouldn't be any towns. I got the feeling that they left the game looking somewhat "empty" to heighten the sense of grandiosity and adventure, since part of the trailer was Link "waking up" to this big new world to explore.

Regardless, I think BotW has potential to be on the same league as the likes of MM and OoT. It's this refreshing step in a new direction without compromising the feel and integrity of the Zelda franchise.
