Besides it's not like the album is going to do staggeringly well anyway so getting a US hit isn't going to do that much. Albums don't sell much anymore for most artists.

That should have been the plan since September/October tbh.
Even just releasing the Standard in Europe and UK and releasing the Deluxe in 2017 as re-release (and US-main edition) could have worked.
I mean the album is done, the artwork is done, she has had succes in various markets. Just release the album, try to make some coins with additional promo/touring and try to invest some additional time in the US for a possible conquer plan. If she happens in the US, then fine, if she doesn't just turn around and try to maintain your status and better luck next era.
In the meantime she could work on some features on other people's work to gain some interest in the markets she didn't conquer yet and eventually she will be able to build a solid discography and a good career.
Waiting for the US, is doing nobody any favors and will only cost more money and even potentially alienate some markets because of the damn long wait.
Though I keep faith that this is not true and we will have this begin 2017, without any delay. Because the last delay was already bad enough.
