According to the British tabloids, she's taking a break. I think this would work with XFUSA though. If she wanted a US release, all she would have to do is combine the best of her three albums and release that.

This, pretty much. I want her to be on it so I can see her on my TV screen every week. And so she can launch her solo career in North America. Hopefully she'll use her platform to promo her music more than Nicole and Britney did

She has done Cannes the past few years, maybe it's something she (or L'Oreal) doesn't want to miss? She could always jet back real quick! I promised myself I wouldn't get my hopes up

UGH I just want them to announce the XFUSA lineup so I can move on with my life. I just don't get why Simon would make the "chemistry" comment if he wasn't going to have Cheryl on the panel. I mean, he's certainly not going to have more chemistry with Kelly Rowland...

If she's in Europe for Cannes, I don't necessarily think that means she's out for XFUSA. She's been to Cannes for the past two years, it's a pretty prestigious event, and it's probably a high priority for her and her team.

Totes random. Apparently Louis Walsh thinks Simon is going to go ahead with the three women judges and he thinks Cheryl might still be in it.
