tbh... he was better than la'porsha last night and he was peaking at the right time.... I felt that was gonna happen. she was steady amazing but he overcame at the last minute.... so it was deserved if we see it that way... also remember that in the finale lots of people who never see idol vote, and he had a better impression than she did....
Well if y'all watched the special, the one that aired on Tuesday night, Simon Fuller and gang all hinted at a newer version of the show.... A reboot perhaps!?
I knew a woman wasn't going to win once I saw the white guys they put through. Trent isn't at all awful but after the last 9(?) seasons, its' pretty clear that Idol voters have a type.

Yeah. Carrie lead the votes every single week, even when she sucked.
The two Davids kept switching spots for top vote getter in season 7.
There was a new top vote getter every week in Season 11 until Colton's elimination, in which Phillip lead from then to the finale.

I'd say season 8. Adam Lambert was SO CLEARLY the star of that season.
