TAYLOR RINGS IN NEW YEAR W/ A TELEVISED NYE BASH


Taylor Swift’s been all over the world this week. The pop princess started off her promotional campaign for her brand new Max Martin and Shellback produced and crafted single ‘Style’ in the city where she’s based and currently resides in, New York City. The singer-songwriter would do some promotion in the city before taking a private jet from John F Kennedy airport to land in Frankfurt, Germany where she would do some quick promotion in the city before hitting up Paris, France, another one of the cities the starlet has a home, before hitting up her final stop in Europe, the amazing and wonderful London, England where she stayed a whole night. Lastly, Seoul South Korea and Tokyo Japan were on the agenda before Taylor would fly to New York City once again for that Justin Bieber album release concert. The next morning she’d go fly to Los Angeles for a Dancing With The Stars performance and some radio promotion before flying BACK to New York City to ring in the New Year at personal held New Years Eve bash. We’re told that right after the ball dropped and she preformed she boarded a plane for London and jetted off in less than an hour of coming off stage.

The singer was partying with a few friends around eight o clock in a studio where a club slash party was being held. She had a glass of champagne in her hand as an interview from MTV walked up to her, one of the hundred or so channels hosting the event on their airwaves. The interviewer was none other than Taylor’s label mate Eric Saade who made his first televised appearance in what seemed to be forever. (In fact, Eric Saade’s last public appearance was back in August where he performed some new songs for fans at a concert festival. Songs that we hear from multiple sources have been scrapped for far better material).

Taylor turned to see who was tapping her shoulder, shrieking when realizing who it was, giving him a huge hug and multiple kisses on the cheek before letting him go, only to be pulled back in Eric, holding her to his side with his arm snaked around her waist, holding the mic to his mouth. “I miss you. I’ve got to have you close for just a few minutes. Plus, I’m here to interview you. Up close and personal if you couldn’t tell.” The two laughed before she put a elbow on his shoulder, leaning nonchalantly against him as she awaited the first question.

“You’ve pretty much been everywhere this past week. What the world is dying to know, where are you going to be twenty four hours from now?” Saade asked, his eyes glued to the blonde bombshell. “Well, I’m going to be in the wonderful United Kingdom. London, actually.” She answered with a smirk, running a finger against his cheek before laughing.

“Promotion for your album? Regardless if so or not tell us some about the album and also some about the goals you have set for this album. Your first ever compilation album. A greatest hits one. You must pretty psyched about achieving so many hits in such little time that you have enough to release a greatest hits record, right?” Eric asked, the singer nodding along with the question.

“I’m going to London for some personal down time. I actually have the next few days off so that’s definitely going to be great. Unlike you, you’re still busy busy in the recording studio. But this album is basically a huge ass thank you to my fans. It shows my gratitude towards them. How thankful and appreciative I am for all the time and money spent in investing in my music and me as an artist. So I put out the highlights of my career along with some of the best songs I’ve ever record with some of my favorite covers too.”

The starlet took a brief pause to take a sip of her champagne before continuing on with her answer, Saade seeming to be almost lost or mesmerized by Taylor up close. “I have some goals set for this record but not as many as I had with previous albums. I remember with Coven 13 I wanted like nine singles and a huge tour that’d last two years. I had like three singles and a tour that lasted three months. SO I’ve learned not to have my goals set too high. But for this record I would love a few hits singles, maybe three or four, for it to be my best selling album and just to have a really great and big year with this record. I have faith in it.”

The final part to the answer Swift gave Saade was short and brief compared to the other parts. “To have the longevity in the industry I’ve had. To be able to still top the iTunes charts after being ten years into my career, that’s something not many can achieve. So however the hell I did it, I’m really honored and blessed. So yeah having a greatest hits record, one that really has enough hits to be credible. It’s really great.”

“We’ve heard you recently had a breakup. Are you going to ring in the new year with anyone special. Perhaps, I don’t know… a swedish male pop star in the room?” There was plenty of smirks and laughs, including one from Taylor herself as she crossed her arms, shaking her head at Saade. “You’re truly ridiculous. Remind me to help you find a good girl when I see you again off camera. ****, Eric.” The singer-songwriter shook her head before ensuing with an answer.

“I’m definitely not ringing in the new year with anyone new. Because I’ll be on stage. But you know I’m not going to say I’m going to be alone these next few days. I have plenty of friends and family around me to keep me satisfied and non man-hungry for awhile you know?” Saade nodded, biting his lip. “Totally. Well it was nice to talk to you but before I go, what’s your new years resolution?” Taylor would grin, thinking for a moment before looking at him. “To remain optimistic and continue to love the element of surprise.” The element of surprise would come only a moment later as Saade would give Taylor a quick peck on the lips before quickly scurrying out the room.

Taylor would then take the stage right outside in Times Square to ring in the new years. In fact, the singer sang under the location where the ball would drop on a stage set up specifically for Taylor. The stage was massive, containing a catwalk that extended out into a crowd of over one hundred thousand people. “NEW YORK. In just FIVE minutes we’re about to ring in this damn New Year. We’re about to ring in this damn year, in nothing but style.’ The riff and baseline synth for ‘Style’ would fill the streets and ears of those listening as the countdown behind Swift started counting down from five minutes to the new year. (Swift also sang other songs from her previous albums; Gunshots, Swarovski, Loverboy, I Knew You Were Trouble, Shake It Off, Blank Space, and New Romantics)

Taylor would then navigate around stage to sing the first two verses and choruses of the song before walking out the catwalk for the bridge where she belted out the orgasmic bridge that people were feeling more than ever with the momentum of the ball about to drop. She belted out the final notes before the band died out and the countdown from thirty stared to ring in the new year. Taylor would count down with the fans, screaming as the new year finally was there, marking a new beginning for everyone sharing the moment with her.

Who produced Theory/Save Me? I'm kinda interested in that one, since it's a song-in-a-song kinda thing.

And, well, they're not traditional ballads. They vary. Psycho is one, Sweet Side is one, the other Greg Kurstin track is one (sort of), then two are Orbit-produced, then the Dr. Luke track can sort of count as a ballad due to the meaning of the song but it's far from a traditional one; it's drumstep that incorporates a typical Luke guitar. Sweet Side & one of the Orbit tracks are the ones I'll definitely call ballads. The other four are iffy.

"theory" was produced by céline & detail / "save me" was produced by céline & allen ritter (nicki minaj) & fridolin ombrose (danity kane).

But seriously, the next single hasn't been fully decided. Paige is talking it over with her label manager Carlton McGuire, and also going to her current boyfriend & her sister Angel for help. It's come down to three options:

1) The Dr. Luke track I mentioned, which is a drumstep song featuring co-production from Cirkut, SirensCeol and Julie Frost, about overcoming a semi-abusive relationship

2) A really dark EDM-y song called "When Night Falls" produced by the Monsters and the Strangerz and Diplo, which features pretty generic lyrics but it's kinda fun

3) A heavy, piano-and-trap song called "Secret" featuring another artist produced by Diplo & Paige that I almost released a season or two ago but then cancelled because the season was dead by then.

Kennedy Honors Glitch, Promotes Azealia for an Hour

The Kennedy Honors 2014 event happened today and one thing happened that no one expected to, there was a massive glitch. By massive, we mean MASSIVE. Ten minutes in the event, an Azealia Banks fan hacked the television screen of millions and advertised Azealia Banks' song Metamorph as well as her album The Dying Stars. People around the world were watching Kennedy Honors with their friends and family expecting to see Sting, Tom Hanks, and other get honored at the legendary event for all their hard work over the years. However, something else happened. The fan named Roberto James is a longtime fan of Azealia Banks apparently hacked into CBS' system and got the channel to show the single cover of Metamorph for that time and play the single for that whole time. At the beginning of the hour, James spoke for ten minutes about how he was going to "serve these tired old bussies with good music" James has since been arrested and is expected to serve serious jail time. Azealia has gained a huge increase on iTunes thanks to the event though. One new fan, an elder of the age of 70 put on her facebook "wow i am TrULY lovING this song by this black girl! so much better than that communist tom hanks!" the facebook post went viral and got 100,000 likes.

A summary of what happened is that Roberto James was a longtime fan of Azealia Banks. He truly felt that he must do whatever it takes to please her. However, this may have been a bit too far. He hacked into CBS' system and played Metamorph and all the remixes including the Nicki Minaj one which has been sent to clubs around the nation, for over an hour. Before playing them, James did a voice over in which is says "Hey ******S of AMERICA! I just am here to tell you that Azealia Banks is the only god there is! BOW TO THE QUEEN OF RAP! I also wanted to tell my mom, **** you! you'll never be like Azealia Banks. And don't expect me to leave home anytime soon. Just because I'm 20 I'm supposed to get a job? **** you, mom! Anyway, I hope all of you ugly homos go and buy Metamorph on iTunes! I know I did! I stole my ****** old nasty HAG ass mama's credit card and bought 20 thousand copies and sent them to the people with ****** taste in this town! Ha!!! I love you, Azealia!!! I hope you love me too after you see all I've done for you. All I've given up for you. I've dropped out of college for you. You are my life! Metamorph changed me! I AM meant to metamorph. into you!!! I know these bitches don't understand me and they'll try to arrest me but just know, I am always a fan! Don't let the media tell you I am a crazy fan! I am just dedicated! You are everything I aspire to be and more. I really hope you realize how big of a fan I am and you show your support towards me. Love you pretty AB!" Roberto James then played Metamorph and its remixes for an hour, coming on the voice over ever few minutes to remind people to buy it on iTunes.

The internet blew up at this incident and Kennedy Honors trended for hours upon hours. Azealia's name trended as well, along with Metamorph. Most tweets were talking about how boring Kennedy Honors is and how Azealia saved the day with her music. People young and old were talking about how appreciative they were of Azealia's nutty little fan. Viewers actually increased after the incident as well, surprisingly. Azealia Banks apparently didn't realize what had happened until all was said and done with. She sent out a video on YouTube in which she talked about the incident. The video has since gained hundreds of thousands of views within an amount of hours. In the video Azealia says the following, "Wow. That was literally. Insane. Something I don't think anyone as an artist has experienced before. I would just like to say, I am sorry to the people honored at Kennedy Honors. I did not mean to intrude on your time of honor. I appreciate all of you for the great things you've done to entertainment. Please realize this. I am not at fault here. I did not mean for this to happen. Please forgive me and my fan's mistake. He made a huge mistake and he will face consequences. He will be in jail, rightfully so, due to your night getting ruined. If there's anything I could do to make it up to you guys, let me know."

Azealia was heavily worried about how the honorees would've felt at the fan hacking CBS. However, Tom Hanks reached out to Azealia saying "Hey, don't feel bad. I bought Metamorph because of that! To be honest, this year's Kennedy Honors was pretty boring anyways and hey we got re-runs. However, we can't re-run that iconic moment. I wish you the best of luck!" The other honorees have also spoken with Azealia wishing her the best of luck and telling her they appreciated her. Due to the evening's instances, Metamorph has moved up significantly on iTunes in sales. Critics mostly laughed at the event saying it was just a funny mess up and nothing major for anyone to get angry over. Azealia and the label can all sigh in relief at this disaster turning into a huge moment for the singer/rapper.

Even though the event was a shock, it brought laughs and introduced new fans to Azealia Banks. The only thing this was really bad for? Roberto James. Hopefully he doesn't stay in prison for too long. Paige's last ALBUM release was in October 2013.

And Psycho is predominantly PAIGE'S and MY song. I wrote it entirely by myself, I found the instrumental all by myself, and Paige was kind enough to let Taylor sing on it and subsequently get it to be a #2 hit.

Cara Delevingne performs on Rockin' Eve

Cara Delevingne is one of the big headliners of this year's Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve on which she performed 3 songs, 1 old song, her debut single which went #1 'Magazine' along with two newer songs, a song from her album 'Distant Horizon' titled 'Honey' which is rumored to be the next single off the album and her latest single 'La Belle' which is a huge smash worldwide, topping many charts around the world within minutes of the release.
Before her performance started, Cara was introduced by Ryan Seacrest: "This year we have many many superstars joining us but one of the biggest ones is Cara Delevingne who is standing here with me. She has a new album out on January 3rd so wish her Happy New Year by pre-ordering the album 'Distant Horizon' right after this amazing performance!"
She was wearing a blue leather jacket with black nails, she had blue leather pants and her hair was straightened and up in a beautiful long ponytail. She also had black Prada glasses and blue versace boots. She started her performance by singing her debut single 'Magazine', which started by a slow growing instrumental during which Cara stood at the middle of the stage while 3 female and 3 male dancers were on each side of Cara. The beat suddenly got very fast and Cara started singing the chorus instead of singing the first few lines. Everyone in the crowd started cheering and screaming. At this moment "Cara Delevingne" started trending on twitter due to the amount of tweets concerning the performance being posted. Cara then sang the first verse before singing an extended chorus during which she kept on doing the choreography along with the dancers. During the breakdown Cara attached the turned off the microphone to her jacket and started doing a complicated choreography while a metallic mesh was starting to come up on stage behind Cara, a platform attached to it's lower part. Suddenly 'Magazine' ended with a large bang that could be heard and Cara ran towards the platform and posed, her back towards the crowd and looked back at them while standing on the platform while it started going up on the mesh while fog was shooting out of a machine on the platform, making the whole stage look beautiful due to the many blue and purple lights that were around the stage.
She took off her blue jacket and her blue pants slowly sensually, revealing a black lace bikini before a dancer who was on the small platform already gave her a soft, black and light teal long jacket which she put on herself. She started singing sensually the first lyrics of 'Honey', which is a sex song "Push me up against the wall/(Bite into my skin)/Baby's at my beck and call/(Juiced all under my chin)". Suddenly the dancer grabs her and both start doing a romantic slow dance to the RNB song that grows faster and faster as the seconds pass, making the crowd go into a frenzy, all cheering and screaming Cara's name. She performed the whole song until the final chorus which turned into only a heavy instrumental playing, Cara dancing with the dancer who had grabbed her from behind, had a hand at her neck while she pushed her herself against him and Cara doing moaning noises into the microphone, before all the lights turned off.
Suddenly a man's voice could be heard and another one, exchanging a dialogue. "We have caught her, she's the one who has been causing all those issues, sir." said the first voice. "Good, where is she?" said another one, until a TV turning on sound could be heard, the lights suddenly came back up and Cara was wearing a black leather catsuit with black boots, and was attached against a big throne, she now had a headset instead of a held microphone, while two dancers dressed as police mans were talking near the stage. Suddenly the 'La Belle' beat started, and female dancers wearing sexy Police men outfits arrived on stage and removed the chains that attached Cara against the throne. Cara started rapping the 'La Belle' lyrics while doing a a few movements part of the choreography the dancers were doing, while the female dancers suddenly grabbed the two policemen and attached them to the throne Cara was on. Cara then got back to the throne and on the two dancers who were moving around trying to get off and then she sat down on their lap looking as if she was enjoying using them this way. The performance ended with all the female dancers being all around the throne while Cara stood right infront of the throne and posed fiercely with her hair flying around a little bit due to the wind.
Ryan Seacrest came back on stage applauding whil the crowd was screaming and chanting Cara's name.
Ryan: This was impressive Cara!
Cara: Thank you, I hope you guys enjoyed Honey, it's a brand new song!
Ryan: Your brand new album 'Distant Horizon' is out in 3 days how do you feel?
Cara: Well I'm just really excited for all of you guys to hear it!
Ryan: What do you want to get or get to do in 2015?
Cara: Well I want to release my new album obviously *laugh* and maybe do another one? I also just want to live happily with my girlfriend.
Ryan: I hope what happened yesterday won't affect you two's relationship in any way, you need to look to the future and hope it's bright!
Cara: I know, that's actually what my album is about! Just moving on, and that's what I'm gonna be doing.
Ryan: Who would you like to wish Happy New Year to?

Cara Delevingne Performs at the EMAs

After passing a whole week in the US promoting her brand new single 'La Belle' Cara delevingne travelled all the way to the UK to perform on the MTV EMAs, at which she won awards and presented some. Arriving on the red carpet wearing a long white Emporio Armani silk dress with Jewelry Moukarzel golden bracelet, ring and massive necklace along with along with custom made Armani heels, Cara looked like a real goddess. Her hair was also slightly waved and pushed over to the right side of her face while she also had a golden crown on her head. She wore a dark shade of pink lipstick and had simplistic eyeliner on. She was accompanied by Kendall Jenner, her newly revealed girlfriend, who was wearing a simple short white dress with a pair of light pink heels by Alexander McQueen and Chanel jewelry.
"I'm so happy to be here along with the beautiful Kendall, at award shows again." said Cara Delevingne when she was interviewed during the show. "It's also be good to be back home in the UK. I'm so excited to see the winners!" she added. Later in the night, wearing a beautiful red gown, another Emporio Armani outfit, she presented the Best Female Award to Miss Charli XCX. She also won the Best Song (For 'Magazine'), Best New Act and Biggest Fans at those awards.
Cara Delevingne closed the show with a performance of her latest single 'La Belle'. For the performance she wore a short golden dress with black details and she wore some black eyeliner, black eyeshadow, tribal make up and looked slightly dangerous. Her performance started with her standing on the top of a human pyramid which consisted of 3 levels of strong male dancers. She started rapping the lyrics while a slightly modified instrumental was playing. She went down the pyramid slowly, ad the moment she hit the ground, the male dancers jumped all together, and standing all strongly besides Cara, all dancing a choreography. The chorus ended, female dancers arrived running on stage and took Cara along with the male dancers up to a wood post to which they attach Cara for a few seconds but instead Cara makes one big jump and a hand movement making all the dancers 'fall' on the ground around her while another Chorus was starting up, and Cara started dancing around the wooden post, before getting up and slowly going down the post. The male dancers started to grab the female ones and started picking them up, lifting them up into the air while Cara was still grinding up and down on the post. A breakdown that isn't usually part of the song suddenly started, the dancers started dancing a mix of aggressive and harsh dance moves with a ballet-like choreography while Cara was laying on the ground doing a few moves around until she got back up jumping, and three guitarists arrived on stage turning the hip-hop like instrumental into a slightly more melodic sound to the song. Cara got close to one of the guitarists while he was doing an extension of the breakdown by doing a solo and Cara started rapping out of nowhere again while the crowd was screaming her name. The performance ended as all the dancers 'fell' down on the ground while Cara posed at the middle of the stage while the guitarists were around her and a clip of Cara walking on a beach wearing a short black sweater and tribal make up like the one she was wearing during the performance, while the words 'Distant Horizon' appeared on screen.
"Thank you so much, goodnight!" she screamed into the microphone while the crowd was going wild. The performance made headlines and was talked about in the media in the days following the award show. Following her performance, Cara got into the press room wearing a kimono like short black and red dress and black knee length leather boots by Alexander McQueen. Kendall Jenner was also with her wearing a black Chanel dress. She answered a few questions concerning her performance, her single, her collaborators, her life with Kendall Jenner and more:

Cara: It's all Alexander McQueen right now. Earlier I was wearing Emporio Armani ensembles.
Press: Why did you decide to do a tribal inspire performance?

Cara: It's the most aggressive or harshest song on the album. It's the last track on the standard edition, and as the tracks pass by the more they become aggressive.
Press: You performed on New Year's Eve a brand new song called 'Honey', will it be the next single?
Cara: That's what I'm hoping for, I want it to be the second single, we're not sure yet, but I think it is going to end up like I want because my label has always supported my decisions.
