I still can't get over this, like, we've said this millions of times, but we're the stans so it's normal.
But now, the music industry and the world are acknowledging it.

I just want to say that while Rihanna is part of my trinity, I don't post in here to often.
I love the video and I really do feel like Katy and Rihanna are the forces that bring the videos and HIT music for this generation.
I love how they are original and thought provoking.

I'm glad she's recording r8. I expect her to give us a summer smash and really maximize the 8th era because I'm sure after that she'll get back to her november releases.

Anyways, the video looks amazing and gives me everything to put it back in high rotation.

Still wish she would have released Jump or Lost in paradise but What now ?!? is the perfect way to end the era.

I think r8 will be a mature evolution and I hope she finds love or at least has a personal breakthrough and the new era will start off with a more powerful, introspective, euphoric, and evolved placed to flow nicely after what now.

Who knows? Maybe things will heat up with Drake and that can be an inspiration of sorts.
Anyways, so happy for the Navy and the icon award at the AMAs.
I already posted in the thread but I want them to do a video collage to show her evolution visually and sonically.

Who would have thought the pon de replay girl will rule the music industry? I did.
I was a junior in high school and was halfway thinking she was a one hit wonder but then when I saw the video for If it's lovin that you want that's when I knew she had that something. Needless to say it flopped on urban but was top 10...I believe #8 on pop radio and I knew she had commercial appeal.

Went through her journey of being cringeworthy on pre show VMAs pon de replay and even when she was on the Today show not exactly wowing with a live version of unfaithful but still new she had opportunity for growth.

Now she's the current queen of pop. From Madonna to Britney to some would say Gaga I wouldn't to Rihanna.

And I was too young to remember PDR and I vaguely remember when SOS was premiering, but to see her journey and live it with her has been amazing.

I'm just glad my other two faves are in different lanes.
Britney had her moment and is not trying to compete with Rihanna.
Nicki is not trying to compete with Rihanna.

I have high hopes for this 8th record.
