Depends on what city you're planning to visit tho, Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi are highly recommended
In HCM city, there is Dinh Độc Lập, Nhà thờ Đức Bà, Bưu điện trung tâm Sài G̣n ( they're close to eachother), Nhà hát lớn, Bến Nhà Rồng, Uỷ Ban Nhân Dân Thành phố... I'd rather not translating any of these, look them up. And for shopping, there's Bến Thành market, Diamond Plaza, Vincom center and Parkson. Some parks here: Đại Nam, Đầm Sen, Suối Tiên,... some of them ain't even in the city and havd to drive for like an hour to get there but worth it
I live in Ho Chi Minh city so I don't know that much about Hanoi but some must visit places are Hoàn Kiếm lake, Lăng Bác Hồ, Văn Miếu Quốc Tử Giám.
For the beaches, go to Nha Trang or Phan Thiết, clean and beautiful. Don't go to Vũng Tàu tho, really dirty.
